Whether you a future star of stage and screen or you simply want to learn skills to perform in shows Stageworks is the place to be

Our senior school commences at age 10 years with classes split into appropriate age bands. Classes are held on Saturdays, 44 weeks per year, including most school holidays. Trinity College Drama and Musical Theatre and National Association of Teachers of Dance (NATD) internationally recognised qualifications are also available to all students.

We make our performing art programs INCREDIBLY ACCESSIBLE without compromising on teachers, teaching standards or facilities – in fact we think that these three elements are the best you will find anywhere, and when it comes to costs to quality ratio we believe we have no equal.

There are NO forced long term commitment or enormous fee outlays. Students may choose  Acting or Acting & Musical Theatre by adding Dance & Singing disciplines.

Stageworks Senior School classes are £8.00 per hour Acting or just £6.50 per hour for the full musical theatre programme. The programmes are very flexible so students may choose to move between the disciplines at any time – helping them to discover their preferences and potential.

We provide highly qualified tutors and industry professionals, beautifully appointed dance studios, excellent drama studios and a high tech theatre so young performers get to work immediately with professionals in a professional equipped environment!

Stageworks is ideal for both absolute beginners and those with more experience!

Life skills but also skills for stage and film careers.

Our senior school students begin to work at a more advanced level to develop performance skills that are equally useful in the workplace and in life – but they are of course essentially foundation skills for both performance pastimes and professional stage and film careers.

In dance students gain fitness and health benefits while they learn exciting new and traditional musical theatre routines through Jazz and modern theatre, commercial and even tap, latin, and ballroom styles.

Singing the latest and traditional hit songs from the shows students develop vocal range, artistic performance skills, and enhance vocal stamina and projection.

In drama students acting skills improve through role play, script work, improvisation, voice work and numerous associated acting techniques including acting for camera.

You will see self esteem, confidence and communication skills grow week by week and view students performing with ever increasing ability in our fantastic, full-scale productions.

Bringing out the best in our students is what we do and why we do it!
