What we do?
MTA has been providing unrivalled services for schools since 1981.
We offer exceptional teachers and facilitators, with years of experience in education, to deliver a fantastic menu of Interactive Workshops including Artists in Role, and PPA arts cover to encompass NC topics. MTA also regularly supplies specialists to schools for arts lessons in Dance, Drama, Music and Musical Theatre, and we have a programme of shows including Issue-Based Plays and Pantomimes.
PPA & Enrichment: Facilitator in Role:
MTA can provide your school with specialists for PPA cover, or to enrich your timetable with skills and subjects that are exciting, practical, and have genuine educational value within and beyond the curriculum. We are the first choice throughout the North West for classes in Music, Drama, Musical Theatre or Dance. We tailor to your exact cross-curricular needs and our professional approach ensures our teachers become a real assets to your school.
Our renowned Artist in Role programmes can bring your chosen topic to life helping the children to fully interact and immerse in the subject. Your pupils could meet the real Guy Fawkes, Florence Nightingale, or even help the famous Captain Dirk Apollo to work out the maths and save his Star Ship and Earth from the Evil Diablo.

MTA’s mid-week after-school clubs are focused on fun, building confidence, learning performing arts skills in dance, drama and singing and are all geared towards end of term performances for parents, family and friends. Or choose Stageworks and bring a satellite performing arts Academy to your school.
MTA have a number of issue-based plays, all are interactive and some are full day programmes with workshops. MTA regularly write bespoke plays on current issues for Health Authorities, The Police or larger groups of schools.
We also produce a traditional PANTO to tour schools in the Northwest every year…Oh No You Don’t! – Oh Yes We Do!
