Stageworks creates the perfect outlet for the more obviously imaginative and outgoing, but nurtures those with less confidence, to reveal their creativity too.
We embrace the hunger that children have to play, explore, and create, by encouraging each member to be themselves and be fantastic.
Step by step, week by week through our teaching in drama, dance, and singing, we turn their play into confident focused performance for Stage & Screen, and for life.
Our teachers are qualified and highly skilled specialists in their fields. Many teach regularly in Schools, Colleges, and University, and perform professionally, but most importantly, they all have a wonderful affinity with children.
Workshops and Theatre Productions
We present beautifully appointed dance studios and drama studios for our students to work together in, and regularly produce exciting full scale shows – starring only your children.
Our shows are performed in popular theatres to give our students a true feel of the mechanics of the industry, from their first rehearsal to their final encore!
Reports and Qualifications
We understand that you want to be advised on your Childs progress, so parents are given annual progress reports.
Students also have the opportunity to take internationally recognised qualifications through Trinity College London, NATD and ABRSM – These are optional, but highly recommended.
School Times and Fees
We open 44 weeks per year with most programmes commencing at 9.30A.M. or 12.30 P.M. Saturdays
Stageworks preparatory and primary programmes are 1.5 and 2.5 hours and work out at just £6.80 per hour payable via monthly direct debit. We request a minimum of just two months membership and just one months- notice if you wish to cancel.
Time To Shine!
Children are often bursting with energy and ready for fun, so we make sure our teachers deliver just that!
In dance they improve their fitness and health benefits while they learn the latest exciting dance moves, in commercial and modern theatre performance styles.
In dramathey listen with interest and begin to speak more confidently. They learn to act through storytelling, drama games, role play, improvisation, acting for camera, physical theatre, mime, mask, and much more.
In Singing they positively beam learning new songs that teach correct breathing, timing, rhythm, and song formation as they develop their vocal skills.
The benefits of Stageworks go way beyond learning performance skills for Stage, TV and Film however. Students develop their creativity in classes that are also wonderful for increasing confidence and verbal expressiveness, improving literacy, leadership and the ability to work with others.
Essentials for life and future careers whatever they may be.
